Amitabh Bachchan after giving a patient hearing to
Bachchan appealed, "Whoever is looking after the transfers in the state, should make sure that this couple is posted in one place. Please unite them, it won’t cost you anything."
As soon as BJP MLA Yashpal Sisodiya from Mandsaur learnt about Vivek’s issue, he appealed to state chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and DGP through Twitter to unite the couple.

Finally on January 18, the Police headquarter(PHQ) released the transfer orders. She was sent on deputation to the narcotics wings of the state police in Mandsaur for three years.
Following her transfer, Vivek said, "our elderly parents live in Gwalior and by transferring my wife to Mandsaur in fact will compound our problems. Now who would look after our mataa pita”.
The MLA from Mandsaur Yashpal Singh Sisodia who had tweeted requesting the officials to unite the couple after the KBC episode said on Tuesday, "this was not what we had expected. Yeh toh asman se gire aur khajoor me latke samaan ho gaya”.
He has requested the authorities to reconsider the case and transfer Vivek to Gwalior. Will PHQ consider the request ?
