AIIMS-B pushes early detection on Childhood Cancer Day

Bhopal: AIIMS Bhopal observed International Childhood Cancer Day with a series of programmes designed to promote awareness, encourage early detection, and strengthen care for young patients. The initiative combined public outreach with academic training to highlight the importance of timely diagnosis and comprehensive support in pediatric oncology.Awareness rallies and outreach activities were organized to foster social sensitivity and build community support for children battling cancer and their families. Experts participating in the programme underlined the need for counselling services, nutritional support, psychological care, and longterm followup to improve treatment outcomes.
