Bhopal: 62-year-old hangs self in Gautam Nagar

BHOPAL: A 62-year-old man allegedly hanged himself at his home in Gautam Nagar locality on Sunday. No suicide note was recovered from the spot but his family members revealed that he remained upset after the death of his wife, who died around 10 years ago.

Investigating officer ASI Vinod Tiwari said that the deceased Satya Narayan Sharma, a resident of Shakti Nagar in Gautam Nagar, worked as a bus driver. On Sunday, when his son, a resident of Chhola, went to his house to meet him, Sharma was found hanging. A case was registered at Gautam Nagar station.

In the second incident, a 60-year-old man allegedly hanged himself at his home in Piplani on Sunday. The deceased was identified as Rakesh Joshi, a resident of Piplani. No suicide note was recovered and the reason is yet to be ascertained.
