45-year-old dies after hit by bus speeding towards Dhana

Bhopal: A 45-year old man was killed after he was hit by a speeding passenger bus that was going to Dhana from Khurai in Sagar district on Saturday morning. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s event of bhoomi pujan of a temple dedicated to saint Ravidas was held at Dhana on Saturday.The deceased has been identified as Hiralal Patel, a resident of Hapshili village. The incident took place at around 11 am near Hapshili square. Police said that the bus was going to Dhana from Khurai side. The deceased died on the spot. Locals gathered in numbers and protested, said sources. Police, however, said that the bus was found at some distance and that the driver had managed to escape. Though people on the bus said they were headed for the PM event, police maintained that no banner or posters regarding the event were found on the bus.
