Bhopal: A three-year-old boy, who fell from the first-floor balcony of his house in the Amrai Parisar area of Bag Sewania in the city, died on Friday morning after undergoing treatment for 5 days. The incident occurred on the evening of March 1.

The child was rushed to AIIMS Bhopal by his family immediately after the accident. However, despite treatment, he succumbed to his injuries on Friday morning. According to police, Pravesh Panth, who lives with his family in Amrai Parisar, works at the canteen of AIIMS. He told police that on March 1, his 3-year-old only child, Jayesh Panth, was playing on the 1st floor of their house. His wife was busy with household work.While playing, the child reached the balcony and accidentally fell from it. He suffered serious head injuries after falling from a height of about 12 feet. Family members immediately took him to AIIMS, where he underwent treatment. Doctors informed that a blood clot formed in Jayesh's head, and despite continuous treatment, he died around 9 am on Friday.
