2 die in road accidents in 24 hours

Bhopal: A 45-year-old man died after a speeding car knocked him down near Ret Ghat Talaiya police outpost on Thursday. Police said that the deceased was identified as Jitendra Rawat. The car also turned turtle and the accused driver managed to escape the spot. Police said that a local, Mohammad Sajid, who works at a shop near the police outpost, alerted the cops and rushed the injured to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. Meanwhile in another incident reported at Misrod police station, a 20-year-old man, who met with an accident around five days ago, died while undergoing treatment. The deceased was identified as Prakash Yadav. tnn
