19-yr-old girl assaulted & raped near Coach factory

Bhopal: A 19-year-old girl was allegedly assaulted and raped in the forest area near Coach factory in Bajaria locality on Sunday.
Investigating officer SI Bhavana Tomar said that the survivor, a resident of Chhola area, works in a private firm. She stated in her complaint that the accused Shubham Singh, who resides close to her home, befriended her around two years back.He repeatedly raped her on the promise of marriage and recorded her obscene videos on his smartphone. Later, he refused to marry her and she blocked all contact with him. On Sunday, however, he called her and asked her to meet him near the Coach factory.
When the survivor went there, he forcefully took her into the forest area nearby and raped her threatening with dire consequences. When she protested, he assaulted her and fled the spot. The girl mustered courage and approached Bajaria police who said that the accused has been arrested.
