14-year-old girl dies by suicide

Bhopal: A 14-year-old girl allegedly died by suicide by hanging herself in Gandhi Nagar on Wednesday. No suicide note was recovered so the reason behind her extreme step could not be ascertained. Police said that Sonia Das was a student of class 9. On Wednesday, her father went to work while mother-daughter duo was at home. In the evening around 6pm, Sonia’s mother went to a temple while Sonia was at home. Around an hour later when she returned, she found Sonia hanging in the room. Her mother rushed her to hospital. The doctors informed police. The parents expressed ignorance on the reason behind her extreme step. TNN

55-year-old farmer dies by suicide in Khajuri

A 55-year-old farmer in Bhopal allegedly died by suicide after his wife left him six months ago without informing anyone. No suicide note was found, but it was revealed that the deceased had been depressed about his wife taking money with her when she left. The police have registered a case and are conducting investigations into the matter. The farmer's son found him vomiting on Saturday night and rushed him to the hospital, where he later died.

12-year-old commits suicide

A 12-year-old boy from Uttar Pradesh, who recently moved to Ludhiana to live with his sister and her husband, committed suicide by hanging himself from a ceiling fan. The boy's parents had passed away a few months ago, leaving him to live alone in UP. The brother-in-law discovered the tragic scene when he and his wife returned home for lunch.
