highlighting the role of r&d in future, he said, managers can no longer sit in air-conditioned cabins and instruct subordinates to perform. "they need to go around the market". privatisation in all the sectors of indian industry seems to be inevitable, thyagarajan observed. training holds the key for personal development, he added. he said companies should have foresight into the science and technology developments for a better future and grab them.
