BENGALURU: With 11 of the 13 disqualified legislators making the cut to become ministers, BS Yediyurappa's cabinet is set to see an overwhelming majority from the two districts of Belagavi and Bengaluru Urban.
This includes the possibility of two more deputy chief ministers — Gokak MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi (ST) and KS Eshwarappa (Kuruba). This means Jarkiholi joins Laxman Savadi and CN Ashwath Narayan as DyCM who hail from Belagavi and Bengaluru respectively.
1x1 polls

Of the maximum 34-member cabinet, it also means the cabinet will get three more additions from each of the two districts. There are already four from Bengaluru and two from Belagavi.
The results mean that winners from Mahalakshmi Layout (K Gopalaiah), Yeshwantpura (ST Somashekar) and KR Pura (Byrathi Basavaraju), Kagwad (Shrimant Patil), Gokak (Ramesh Jarkiholi) and Athani (Mahesh Kumatalli) will join the Yediyurappa cabinet.
