BANGALORE: Bangalore Medical College students on Wednesday wore black badges as a part of the on-going strike against the Centre's proposal for reservation of seats.
But they attended classes and duties. The students have decided not to boycott classes or stage dharnas, but to mount pressure on the Centre by wearing black badges.
"We will wait for Union HRD minister Arjun Singh to speak on May 11.

Until then we shall not protest. But if he does not withdraw his statement, we will take to the streets," said student Anurag Arora, who was part of the protest.
The junior doctor association expressed solidarity with them. In Gulbarga, more than 500 students of Mahadevappa Rampure Medical College staged a protest rally in Gulbarga on Wednesday.
