Police clears detained suspect of Mumbai Blast

BANGALORE: Bangalore Police Commissioner S Mariswamy, ruled out any involvement of Mohammed Faheed alias Mohammed Usman who was detained at Bangalore airport on Monday night, in the Mumbai blasts case.
The Commissioner said Faheed was not involved in the twin blasts in Mumbai on August 25.
On a red alert from Mumbai police, the Bangalore Immigration authorities had detained Faheed.Investigations so far has made to conclude that Faheed was not involved in the mumbai blasts, Mariswamy added.
However, the case of impersonation has been taken against Faheed for processing a passport in some other name by concealing his original name. Mariswamy said, Faheed will be taken to Hyderabad for further verification of his antecedents.
