NIA chargesheet against 2 terror suspects filed

Bengaluru: The National Investigation Agency on Thursday filed a chargesheet in a special court here against two terror suspects for allegedly trying to instigate communal violence across the country with their suspected Al-Qaeda links.
The suspects are Akthar Hussain Laskar alias Mohammed Hussain from Assam and Abdul Aleem Mondal alias Mohammed Juba from West Bengal.
“The accused were in touch with online handlers based abroad through end-to-end encrypted communication platforms. They were planning to leave for Afghanistan for training in terror activities,” NIA said. tnn
