,east Bengaluru
.Jonathan Fernandez, 22, and his mother Vijaya Francis, 40, were mauled by the dog who pounced on them, threw them to the ground and tore their clothes. He bit Jonathan on his hand. Passersby rushed to their rescue but the dog refused to let go, and had to be chased away with sticks.
The quarrel broke out last Saturday, at Gandhi Street in Narayanapura, near KR Puram. Vijaya said she had objected to her neighbour Allan, a self-employed man, entering the frontyard of her house with his German Shepherds. Allan has four pets, who poop in the same place every day, Vijaya alleged.
“Allan asked me whether I had seen the dog dirtying the yard. When Jonanthan said he had, Allan set one of his dogs on him, which bit him. Then, Allan attacked me and my son,” she said. Jonathan, a diploma holder in electronics, is still in hospital with a fractured hand.

I have been following the comments from yesterday. When few have identified the sick mentality of the owner who did such a horrible thing, few are surprisingly talking about banning this breed, killing the dog, cutting his tail, extracting his teeth and what not. When it definitely proves that these guys don''t have any knowledge on dog breed and passing lose comments and spreading fear, what is more hurting is to see all these guys have so much less compassion and hatred in their heart. For those people, remember the same breed serve our Indian police force, saves our country and border in military, serves as a service dog for visually challenged people and therapy dogs for special children. Remember there is no bad dog, only bad owners. And this is an example of a bad owner. And I also hope our future generation don''t grow up with so much hatred and will be able to spread love to human and their fellow animals.Read allPost comment
