Keeping the R-Day spirit alive

Bangalore: St Joseph's College of Business Administration celebrated Republic Day with traditional pomp and splendour. SJCBA director Aveline D'Souza stressed on the need to pay special attention to the spirit of Republic Day, especially in these times of terror and communal disharmony.
Bangalore University professor Jeevan Kumar, who was the chief guest at the event, spoke about the relevance of Gandhian philosophy in today's world.Terence Farais, rector, St Joseph's Group of Institutions, urged youngsters to be active participants in the political process instead of being mute spectators.
