Karnataka secure quarterfinal berth

Karnataka defeated Madhya Pradesh by seven wickets to book their quarterfinal berth at the Senior Women's One-Day Trophy in Ranchi on Wednesday. Madhya Pradesh were restricted to 1669 with Chandu V and Shreyanka Patil scalping three and two wickets respectively. Karnataka lost three wickets before reaching the target in the 37th over with Veda Krishnamurthy unbeaten on 44. Karnataka will take on Delhi for a berth in the semifinal in Ranchi on Friday.
