I am not aware of any Pakistan terrorists and I am an Indian National committed to the unity and security of India," Madani has claimed in his rejoinder statement.
The rejoinder statement was filed in response to the statement of objections filed by State Public Prosecutor in relation to the bail petition filed by Madani. Not advocated separate state "I have never advocated for a separate state for Muslim, Dalit-backward and never promoted enmity between Hindus and Muslims. I have been falsely implicated in this case by the investigating agency in order to appease their political bosses. There is no iota of truth in the allegations made against me. The investigating agency has no evidence collected against me and the statement of 570 witnesses has nothing to do with my involvement in any crime," he has further stated.
Treatment at my cost Madani has further stated that he is himself footing the bill for his treatment and even for the purchase of medicines in spite of the fact that he was an undertrial prisoner and the medical treatment was required to be provided by the state. He also claims that there is no misuse of any situation as the bills were paid by him. Just to deny bail "The state is indulging in abrobating and reprobating as far as the medical treatment to me in order to deny bail to me," he has further alleged.
The state government had claimed that Madani had links with foreign terrorists and that he is facing many cases. The high court will take up his bail petition for further hearing next week.
