BANGALORE: Their drinking brawl ended his life. Paramesh (30), a cashier in a hotel, was killed by his own employer Suresh (38) on Monday night after they picked up a fight over a trivial issue.Suresh from Hassan was running a hotel on Hosur Road and had hired Paramesh some years ago. Four months ago, the hotel was demolished in a road-widening work.
Following that, Suresh had gone back to Hassan and Paramesh had started working in another hotel in Bommanahalli.
Eventually, Suresh returned to the city and started a new hotel on Hosur Road and convinced Paramesh to work with him again. During Ganesha Chathurthi, Suresh had gone to his hometown asking Paramesh and others to look after the hotel. But when he came back, he had learnt that the hotel was closed during those days, leading to heated arguments between Suresh and Paramesh.On Monday night, after closing the hotel they started drinking and the issue of closing the hotel came up again resulting in an exchange of words. In a fit of rage, Suresh stabbed Paramesh in the neck, killing him on the spot. The Electronic City police have arrested Suresh on murder charges.(toiblr.reporter@timesgroup.com)
