Gowda uses BMIC road, doesn't pay toll: Kheny
BANGALORE: Bangalore Mysore Infrastructure Corridor (BMIC) project promoter Ashok Kheny has accused former Prime Minister H D Deve Gowda and family of using the BMIC peripheral road without paying toll.
Deve Gowda's family, including his grandchildren, uses the road for free, Kheny said at a function on Sunday. "If he (Gowda) is against the project, why does he have to use this road, that too without paying toll,'' Kheny asked.
A bitter critic of the project, Gowda has held several protests on this peripheral road demanding that the government scrap it.
