Bengaluru: Two unknown miscreants barged into a house on Tavarekere Main Road, south Bengaluru, and robbed an elderly couple at knife-point on Friday night, cops said.
Suddaguntepalya police registered a case of robbery based on a complaint filed by Sathish P, 69, a retired employee. He and his wife Ruth Elizabeth, 65, were in their house when someone knocked on the door around 9.15pm.
Sathish opened the door and two miscreants barged in. They took out knives and threatened the senior citizens. The gang stole five gold rings weighing around 15 grams, two gold chains of 90 grams and Rs 15,000 in cash. Police said the robbed items are worth Rs 4 lakh. tnn
