Duo arrested for running a brothel

BENGALURU: Two people were arrested on Saturday for running a prostitution racket from a house in Kanakanagar in RT Nagar, north Bengaluru.
Women from several states were rescued from the house, police said, adding that they were brought to the city after being lured with job promises.
While Siddhartha Sena, 20, and Sridhar, 35, were arrested, two others, Suresh and Manjunath, are absconding.DJ Halli police said they were tipped-off about the house being used to entertain customers and for running a prostitution racket. They seized Rs 1,000 in cash, three mobile phones and 24 condoms from the house.
