The Corps of Detectives (CoD) has sought custody of Srinivas Shastri, main accused in the multi-crore ViniVinc scam.

BANGALORE: The Corps of Detectives (CoD) has sought custody of Srinivas Shastri, main accused in the multi-crore ViniVinc scam. In an application filed to the principal city civil judge, who is also a special judge dealing with the ViniVinc case, CoD said Shastry and company director Lokesh had suppressed facts relating to seven more cases pending against them.
The Supreme Court had given bail to the two accused in three cases but the duo is facing charges in seven more cases.

They have not applied for bail in five cases too.
Even in two cases, they have not submitted the surety, according to CoD.
The court told the two accused to file objections by September 29.
