BANGALORE: Chief minister
B S Yeddyurappa has finally decided to meet former Prime Minister
H D Deve Gowda in Bangalore on July 8 to discuss developmental projects in Hassan district.
CM's principal secretary has conveyed this to Gowda through a letter. "I have agreed. At the meeting, there will be a detailed discussion on lack of developmental projects in the district,'' Gowda said on Sunday.
On June 27, Gowda went on a hunger strike in front of Yeddyurappa's official residence on Race Course Road to register his protest against the government's alleged step-motherly treatment to his home district.
