bangalore: christ college celebrated its annual college day on saturday, marking the last day for the academic year. swami sukhabodhananda, founder chairman, prasanna trust addressed the students gathered with an enriching eye opener in moral guidance incorporating a few jokes saying,``recognising our priorities is a very important step in our lives and attaining spirituality requires the ego to submit to a higher being in order to attain peace.'''' also present where rev.
dr thomas kalam, director cmi, st john''s medical college and prof s.n. hegde, vice-chancellor, mysore university who said: ``christ college had served the students with many opportunities and it is time to join an greater part of our educational society by forming a university of their own.'''' awards were given out to students who received ranks from bangalore university and special recognition. after having completed their respective graduation service, the final year students where seated in order of their respected class, participated in their last cultural performance. this included the college team a band gallji gurus who swept awards from all over including iit''s mumbai and madras, they also won the 3rd place in the `radio city live'' contest. by the of the day, students were singing and dancing on stage where cameras never stopped flashing.
