Chandra threatened witnesses

Police have finally nabbed Ramaswamy Palya corporator N Chandra, the main accused in attack on Lake Development Authority chairman U V Singh. Chandra has applied for an anticipatory bail before an ACMM court.

BANGALORE: Police have finally nabbed Ramaswamy Palya corporator N Chandra, the main accused in attack on Lake Development Authority chairman U V Singh. Chandra has applied for an anticipatory bail before an ACMM court. On March 2, Amruthalli police filed a case with respect to threatening the witness. They had also unearthed a case registered in JC Nagar, where Chandra had threatened one more person a few days before the attack on Singh.

After his bail was rejected, Chandra was moving around in Tamil Nadu and camped in a house in Vaniyambadi for two days before heading to Hosur.
On March 8, he threatened one more witness and Sampigehalli police registered a case.
