Capgemini revenue rises 10.7% in Q1

Bengaluru: Capgemini has reported revenue of ₹5.7 billion for the first quarter of the financial year, a 10.7% constant currency growth compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal. The Paris-headquartered IT services company, which has more than 50% of its employees in India, has maintained its guidance for the 2023 fiscal year -- revenue growth of 4% to 7% in constant currency and operating margin of 13% to 13.2%. Capgemini has globally added 5% more to its workforce compared to March 2022, taking the total headcount to 357,000. But compared to the December quarter, the headcount has come down by over 2,000 employees. Employee attrition has reduced considerably, from 26.2% in the first quarter of 2022 to 22.9% now.
