Namma Metro has been helping people make more time for themselves. It has been converting twohour drives into 30minute traffic-free rides, redefining travel time.
In a fast-paced city like Bengaluru, it is very easy to get stuck for long hours on the roads. But with the Metro, people have the opportunity to make more time for themselves.
Sampath Navile, an architect, gets to read a book everyday on his way to work. He says, “Much of my reading happens on the Metro.“ When was the last time you slept in without fear of being late? Nabeela Moidu, a salesperson, will soon be able to enjoy the comfort of her bed every morning for a little longer. She says, “To go to work, I had to take three buses and it took two hours. But, now that I can take the Metro, I save so much time. I had to wake up by 6 am to get to work by 10 am, but now with the Metro, I can sleep longer.“
The
Metro gives people more time for the family too. Deepak Kumar, a businessman, says, “It is one of the best ways to commute.
There is no traffic and congestion. You can always predict what time you will reach, and you Mohammed Asad save so much time. With the extra time, there are so many things to do. I spend more time with family.“
Tanisha Singh, a student, gets to make time for her cousins who are in town to visit her. She says, “When I take a cab I take a very long time to reach home. But when I take the Metro, I get home early“.
