BANGALORE: Bangalore continues to wear the hat of the city of musicians and tune lovers, even as the Bangalore School of Music (BSM) conlcludes its silver jubilee celebrations.
The celebrations began in January this year with a Dutch flute recital, followed by Chorus without Borders, featuring 80 voices of Choirs from UK, USA and the Boy's Choir of St.

Mary's Home. "Forty two celebratory events and concerts later, spread of over the calendar year, we close our celebrations with the Gala Finale, on December 2 nd6:30 pm at Ravindra Kalakshetra," says Aruna Sunderlal, founder BSM.
The Gala Finalewill present nearly a hundred students and their teachers in ensembles, which represent the music disciplines taught in the institution.
The 35 member Choral Ensemble will begin the presentation, singing the Sanskrit Sloka 'Asathoma sat Gamaya', while the Chief Guest, eminent personality and Gnanapith Awardee, Dr Girish Karnad will light the ceremonial lamp together with the trustees.
