BENGALURU: Central Crime Branch sleuths on Wednesday arrested four persons, including a West African and an engineering student, on drug-peddling charges in two cases. They seized 2kg of ganja, 160 grams of MDMA and 25 grams of cocaine, all worth around Rs 22 lakh.

In the first incident, a gang of three persons was caught selling MDMA and ganja to college students in Marathahalli area.

The suspects are Adesh, Wasim and Syed Mohamed Ilal, all residents of Marathahalli. Ilal is a final-year BE student. In the second incident, a 30-year-old Guinea national was arrested with MDMA and cocaine.


The accused is Sonouh Asamoah, who had joined a college to pursue BCA and soon became a major supplier of MDMA and cocaine in Bengaluru and Kerala. Asamoah claimed to be a football player.
