: The cyber cell of Lakhimpur
Kheri police
has seized 81 stolen
mobile phones
worth Rs 8.75 lakh and returned the phones to their respective owners.
Kheri SSP Vijay Dhull
said every complaint of lost or stolen mobile phone was immediately forwarded to the surveillance team for tracking. “Since mobile phones are an important part of everyone’s life, all such cases are dealt with priority.”
The SSP also announced a cash reward of Rs 5,000 for cyber cell in-charge Anil Kumar and his team in commendation to their "good work".
Anjali Mishra, who received her lost phone after a year, said, “I was surprised after police informed me that my mobile phone was recovered. I am really happy to get my phone back. It is still in working condition.”
