Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The
Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited has scheduled planned power outages of four to seven hours in different parts of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Friday to carry out pre-monsoon maintenance works.
According to an official announcement, the power supply will be interrupted for consumers served by the Bhimtekdi and Delhi Gate feeders from 10am to 4pm. The affected areas include Amber Hill, Everest College, Saeeda Colony, Harsul Gaon, Kolthanwadi Road, Jahangir Colony, Chetnanagar and Fatema Colony.
Power will be suspended for all feeders connected to the Padegaon substation, and for the Nishant Park and Railway Station feeders, between 9am and 2pm. It will affect Udyog Indrakamal, Sky City, the Nishant Park vicinity, Master Cook Hotel, Dishanagari, Z Galaxy, Shivkala Netralaya, Dwarkadas Nagar, Shahnoorwadi and Samadhan Colony.
From 9am to 4pm, electricity supply will remain off for all consumers served by the various feeders connected to the Railway station substation.
Power supply will also be interrupted in MHADA Colony, Chikalthana Gaon, Savitrinagar, the area opposite the airport, Prakashnagar, Ram Nagar, Naregaon, N-11, N-12, N-1, Powerloom, Gautam Da Mill, Greaves, Sindhi Colony, Khokadpura, Banjara Colony, Usmanpura, SBH Colony and Vikas Nagar from 9am to 1pm.
"Depending on the progress of the scheduled maintenance works, the power supply may be restored either earlier or later than the specified times. We appeal to all consumers to extend their cooperation during the planned power outages," Dnyaneshwar Ardad , the public relations officer for the Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar zone of MSEDCL, said.
