Man attacks wife, daughter

Aurangabad: A man allegedly attacked his wife and daughter with a knife at his residence in Mukundwadi late on Saturday night.
The suspect, Ramesh More, suspected the fidelity of his wife, Anita, the police said. He earns his livelihood by doing petty jobs while Anita works as a housemaid.
According to the police, More often abused and beat up his wife while suspecting her character.On Saturday night, he came home drunk and told Anita to get out of the house. When she refused to obey him, he whipped out a knife and attacked her. He later attacked his daughter, Kiran, with the same knife when she intervened.
The police said More’s brother, Suresh, abetted him in the crime.
