‘Red Revolution’ team spreading awareness on voting right

AMARAVATI: Kasturi Satya Prasad alias Nani, who spearheaded the ‘Red Revolution’ in Nidadavolu of West Godavari district much before the politicians jumped into the poll fray, is now spreading awareness about importance voting. Though, his efforts to bring the local issues to the notice of the administration have succeeded, government officials are yet to act and provide relief to the people.His innovative method of spreading awareness among the locals and encouraging them to share their problems through post cards has been a huge success.
Nani had launched the public message system where the local problems are displayed through wall writings. This innovative method also received good response in the political circles.
The‘Red Revolution’ team is now focusing on increasing the voting percentage in the constituency through awareness meetings. | Read this story in Telugu
“The vote is our weapon to bring a change in the system. So everyone should vote and elect right leader to get their problems solved,” said Satya Prasad.
He also wants the local educated youths to question the elected representatives about the persisting problems. He promised full support of his organisation to people till a suitable solution has been provided to the problems in the Nidadavolu constituency.
The 'Red Revolution' deals with identifying the local problems, highlighting them ahead of the general elections and pressurising all political parties to fulfill their promises.
