Jagan Mohan Reddy government in building resilient healthcare system through the YSR village health clinics for every 2,000 population. Bishen lauded the new initiative of the state government to set up village / ward secretariats for decentralized administration system and ensuring the delivery of schemes and service benefits to all citizens.

held discussions with Bishen during his maiden visit to Davos to attend the
WEF conference on Sunday. After going through AP’s presentation and discussions with the chief minister, Bishen said that implementation of Universal Health Coverage through Dr YSR Aarogyasri-end-to-end cashless health care services is one of the best schemes being implemented in the world.
The chief minister said they have identified WEF as a platform to explore fruitful partnerships to scale-up the state-wide health initiatives and also explore setting up of multi-specialty hospitals.
The CM wanted Bishen to extend his support in getting more investments to the state in healthcare sector.

complimented AP’s initiatives in making the state the best destination for investments. He observed that the state could be the ‘food hub’ of India.
Prof Schwab emphasized the important role which could be played by the state in addressing food shortages. Jagan Mohan Reddy held discussions with Prof Schwab on Sunday.
Prof Schwab welcomed the advance manufacturing partnership, and extended commitment of the WEF to AP during the interaction with the chief minister. The chief minister explained various issues including transforming governance, investing in future areas of education, healthcare, skilling, economic growth and recovery, infrastructure development, port-led industrialization, and how the WEF platform can be leveraged to meet environmental and social governance objectives of the state.
