AP: 15-yr-old girl raped by 26-yr-old teacher at Madanapalle

TIRUPATI: A 15-year-old minor girl student was raped by a government school teacher at

. The 26-year-old accused was taken into custody by the

on Saturday.

who works as a teacher at AP model school at B Kothakota was staying at his maternal aunt's teachers quarters at Gurukul school at Madanapalle for the vacations.

TV Naveen Kumar who gained proximity with a 15-year-old girl student who studies at AP model school at B Kothakota but is a native of Madanapalle, called her and forced her to come to his aunt's quarters while he was alone on Friday.

He raped the minor girl mercilessly several times and later let her go after warning her not to disclose the incident to anyone.

But after the girl's parents questioned her where she had gone all day, the girl spilled the beans before them, who then lodged a complaint with the Madanapalle II town police.

Acting on the complaint lodged by the parents of the 15-year-old minor girl, Madanapalle police swung into action and took the accused teacher into custody.

Police have registered a rape case against the teacher and also under various sections of the Protection of children from sexual offences (POCSO) act. Madanapalle police have also sent the girl for medical examination.
