Andhra Pradesh: Chittoor Police seizes contraband worth Rs 16 lakh; arrests 12
Chittoor district police in Andhra Pradesh, on Monday, seized large quantities of prohibited chewing tobacco products and interstate liquor and arrested 12 accused on Monday.
Police are on the lookout for one of the accused identified as Mahendra who managed to escape.
Those arrested were identified as Monti Saini (24), S Rafi (27), M Jyotheeswar Reddy (33), A Subramanyam (57), K Balaji Naidu (62), C Bharathi (43), K Chennaraya (36), V Nagaraja (60), V Harish (21), K Madhu (42), J Subbaiah Chetty (43) and Ravi.
Police are on the lookout for one of the accused identified as Mahendra who managed to escape.
