ALLAHABAD: Four persons, including two employees, were arrested on Tuesday on charges of theft at a jewellery showroom a few days back. One gold necklace, 70 grams of gold and Rs 1 lakh in cash were recovered from them. Two jewellers from Chowk, Vicky Verma and Sandeep Rao were arrested on charges of buying the stolen gold.
Showroom owner Rakesh Kumar Chaddha lodged an FIR with Civil Lines police on September 21, accusing his employees Santosh Patel and Santosh Yadav of committing theft.

The CCTV footage was scanned. The two employees were arrested on Tuesday. SSP Umesh Kumar Srivastava had announced a cash reward of Rs 5000 for the police team.
