Over 250 take part in NCR’s cultural meet

Prayagraj: The two-day 10th edition of Officers Sport and cultural meet of North Central Railway (NCR) commenced on Saturday. It was inaugurated jointly by General Manager of NCR Pramod Kumar and his wife Punam Kumar, president of Women’s Welfare Association of NCR. CPRO of NCR Shivam Sharma said: “Over 250 participants from NCR headquarters, Agra, Jhansi and Prayagraj divisions will showcase their talent.” Meanwhile, railway week award function was organised on the occasion of 67th Rail Week, at NCR Headquarters on Saturday.As many as 155 railway personnel were awarded on the occasion. This included Shyam Lal, Loco Pilot (Mail), Vishnukant Tiwari, Dy FA&CAO (Construction), CMLR and Wagon Repair Workshop, Jhansi, Dilip Kumar Rajput, senior DSTE (Signal), Shashikant Tripathi, senior DOM (Coordination), Mohd Javed Akhtar Deputy Chief Engineer (Construction), Gaurav, Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer, Bhuvnesh Singh, Senior Divisional Engineer (Central), Dilip Singh Meena, Deputy Chief Mechanical Engineer. tnn
