Organisations protest against Kunda incident

BAHRAICH: The flame of murder case of circle officer of Kunda Tehsil of Pratapgarh district has reached Bahraich district as well. Different organisations have demanded strict action against the former food and supply minister of the state Raghuraj Pratap Singh alias Raja Bhaiya. People led by the district president of national ulema council Maulana Sarwar Khan Qasmi carried out a procession and burnt the effigy of Raja Bhaiya.
In order to maintain the law and order, peace and public security, the district magistrate (DM) Bahraich, Kinjal Singh has imposed section 144 in the district and the order would be effective in the district till April 30 2013. The ADM Prem Prakash Singh told that this order would remain effective in all the border areas of the district and on all the residents of district as well as on the people entering the district from March 4 to April 30, 2013 and violating the order would be punishable.The district convener of Babri Masjid action committee Shakeel Qidwai said that the murder of Kunda CO has proved the worst law and order situation in the state.The murder of district president of Hindu Yuva Vahini of Ambedkarnagar district has irked the Bahraich unit of Hindu Yuva Vahini. A delegation led by the district president of Hindu Yuva Vahini Brijesh Gupta handed over a memorandum addressed to the governor to the additional district magistrate.
