Man stabbed to death in trans Yamuna village
Prayagraj: A 40-year-old man, identified as Raju Adivasi, a resident of Chand Khamaria village was allegedly stabbed to death by three of his acquaintances near Khuta crossing under the limits of Khiri police station late on Monday night. The incident, according to police, took place when the victim was returning him home after attending a marriage ceremony. Initial police investigations revealed monetary dispute has led to the killing.Police said Raju, who worked in Mumbai, had come to his native village a couple of days back. He along with his some acquaintances had gone to attend a marriage ceremony in Siki Kala village where he consumed liquour. Raju was targeted by three of his known persons while returning to home.Body has been sent for post mortem. The father of the victim has named three persons in the FIR.
