Illegal mining: Risia SO shifted

BAHRAICH: The police administration has sent Risia station officer (SO) to lines over alleged failure to check illegal sand excavation.
Inspector Ajay Kumar Singh has been appointed as new SO of Risia. Seven sub-inspectors have also been shuffled.
Superintendent of police (SP) Neha Pandey said Jai Prakash Yadav, posted as SO Risia, could not check illegal sand excavation in his area of jurisdiction.
BJP MP Savitri Bai Phoole too had complained about him. Hence he has been sent to police line and Ajay Kumar Singh has been appointed in his place.
