High Court Bar Association election today

ALLAHABAD: The polling for Allahabad High Court Bar Association (HCBA) will be held on Monday at the cricket ground of Allahabad High Court on GT Road.
The returning officers informed that there are as many as 7,665 voters. They said that lawyers dressed in court dress and carrying identity card, issued by Bar Association, will be allowed to cast votes.They should also bring a photocopy of the identity card.
For the post of president, as many as five candidates are in fray. They are Anil Tiwari, Radha Kant Ojha, Rakesh Pandey, Sher Bahadur Yadav and YD Sharma.
As many as seven candidates are in fray for the post of secretary. They are AC Tiwari, Ashok Kumar Singh, BD Pandey, Dhananjaya Singh, CP Upadhya, Mahendra Bahadur Singh, Santosh Kumar Srivastava and Vijay Chandra Srivastava.
As many as 133 candidates are contesting for the 28 posts of Allahabad High Court Bar Association.
