Goddess Laxmi arrives on Lotus, not on cycle: Smriti Irani

PRAYAGRAJ: Union minister of women and child development Smriti Irani has said that “ people who once denied the existence of Lord Ram, are now wearing Janeu (religious thread) and visiting temples.
Irani was seen making a fervent appeal to all the voters to re-elect BJP to power in the state, saying that the goddess of wealth, Laxmi, arrives on a lotus that stands as the party’s election symbol and not on cycle.“If people of UP want to bring Lakshmi in their homes, they should vote for BJP in this assembly polls. As Lakshmi sits only on ‘kamal’ and not on cycle,” the actor-turned-politician said during a poll rally in Meerapur.
By making frequent verbal attacks on the opposition, she claimed that the cycle has got punctured and this election will prove whether Goondaraj will be back or everyone will be smiling under the rule of BJP. Irani added that “ this election will decide upon “ har beti samman ke sath school aur college jayegi” ( every daughter will go to school and college with honor) also.
The actor-turned-politician who was in Meerapur for a poll rally said, the Yogi led BJP government had demolished the empires of mafias and goons in Sangam city that has also helped poor to get their well-built homes on the same land.
She said that this election would also decide whether the coming time will provide security to our daughters or not. The Yogi government has restored law and order in the state, and overall development of the state was also being witnessed”. Irani claimed that jungle raj prevailed during the regime of the previous government of the Samajwadi party and had failed to maintain law and order. She further takes a dig that people of country know that one of the SP leaders had refused to sing “Jan Gan Man “ in his school. She said that people of state want to see their state growing on development path under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath and for that, BJP should be re-elected in this assembly polls also.
