Cong office bearers to meet, discuss polls

Allahabad: Workers and party office bearers from 9 assembly constituencies and 20 blocks would take part in the joint convention of district and city Congress committee, which would be inaugurated today at the premises of Katra Ramlila committee.
Giving this information, UPCC secretary, Kishore Varshney said that issues related to ordinary workers alongwith propogating the public welfare policies of the Centre would be discussed during the convention.
Senior party leaders including the state president, Dr Rita Bahuguna Joshi, CLP leader, Pramod Tiwari and party observer Zafar Ali Naqvi would take part in the convention and throw light on the strategy to be followed during the 2012 assembly elections.
