AU students win moot court contest

ALLAHABAD: A team BA LLB students of faculty of Law, Allahabad University won Mahamana Malaviya National Moot Court competition, 2014, organised by the Law School, Banaras Hindu University (BHU). The team comprised of Taniya Pandey and Shreya Gupta as speakers and Karan Kapoor as the researcher. They defeated Galgotias University in the final round.
Around 24 from institutes including RGNUL Patiala, UPES Dehradun and others from across India participated in the contest. The final round was judged by Justice DD Jha from Patna High Court and Justice B Amit Sthalekar from Allahabad High Court.Karan, also in his fourth year, exclaimed, "This is out second victory as a team and we love the way we all complemented each other and with a team like this, I could not have asked for anything more."
