Driver burnt to death in truck on NH in Ajmer

Ajmer: Fire broke out in a moving truck and the driver was burnt alive in it on National Highway 8 near the IOCL plant in Tabiji in Ajmer district on Wednesday morning. Police identified the deceased as Hanuman Singh Mali, 38, resident of Phagi in Jaipur. Police are trying to ascertain the cause of the fire. After the incident, the sarpanch of Tabiji village, Rajendra Gaina, gave a memorandum to the district administration stating that the IOCL gas plant was only some meters away from the place where the truck was burning, but even after informing and requesting them, the company did not send its fire extinguisher equipment to rescue the driver.
