Youth kidnapped for having illicit relations suspected to have been stabbed to death

and his associate have murdered Zal and thrown his dead body in Sabarmati River near Dholka.

Naroda police sources said they are searching for Zal's dead body with the help of fire department personnels. "The accused have not yet confessed to the crime, but we have eye witnesses who said that Bholo and his associate stabbed Zal several times and thrown him in the river" said Inspector RB Rana of

According to the complaint lodged by Zal's father Aakash, who is married and has a one-and-a-half-year old son was kidnapped on Tuesday night in an auto from near a community hall in Naroda.

"He has mentioned in his complaint that eye witnesses have told him that his neighbor

Udaji Thakor's son Bholo

and one another unknown person had kidnapped him in auto and drove towards Dastan Farm" added Inspector Rana.

Police sources said during investigation they found that Aakash had an alleged affair with Bholo's wife and both had quarrelled several times over the issue.

"We have picked up the accused and are questioning them. Even as they are not confessing to the crime we have eye witnesses who told us that Bholo and his friend had stabbed Aakash several times and thrown him into the river near Dholka" Inspector Rana added.

Police officials said they are searching for Zal in the river with the help of personnels from the fire department. "We are not concluding that Zal had died. He could have escaped with injuries. We have also dispatched teams to search for him in the nearby areas," added a senior police official.
