Jayanti Bhanushali murder: How killers carried out the crime

They asked an accomplice to hire a bike to drop them at Bhuj and then the aide was to park the bike at Samakhiyali station for them to get away after the killing. But as they left Narayan farm in Bhuj for

, they found the fuel tank of the motorcycle empty. After this, they took a lift from some unknown person and reached a petrol pump, took petrol in an empty water bottle and returned. By the time, they reached Bhuj the train had already left the station.

“They then went to Bhachau and boarded the train. Kamble and Ashraf found a 2-AC coach to enter the train. From there, they went to Bhanushali’s coupe H-1 in first class AC coach. They knocked the door of Bhanushali’s coupe and Bhnaushali himself opened the door. Kamble told Bhanushali that it was their seat which he had occupied, but as Bhanushali asked them to go away and tried to close the door, Kamble pushed him and then Shaikh shot Bhanushali point blank on his forehead,” said an official. After this, Shaikh’s pistol jammed and a couple of rounds were dropped there. But Kamble then shot another round into Bhanushali’s eye. They then pulled the chain and got down at Samakhiyali. After calling up their accomplice to learn where the bike was parked they took the bike and fled towards Ratanpur finally reaching Abu Road from where they took a bus to Mumbai.
