SGCCI to sponsor senior citizens' meet in Surat

SURAT: The Gujarat Senior Citizens'' Federation will hold its second state-level convention here on Monday.
About 500 delegates are expected to participate in the convention.
The convention is sponsored by Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry, according to a release here on Saturday.
There will be two sessions during the course of convention which will be addressed by Dr K R Gangadharan, director of heritage hospital, Hyderabad, on health and care of senior citizens, while Dhirubhai Desai, retired justice of Supreme Court, will speak on acceptance of senior citizens by family members and society.
Other dignitaries include Dr S R Kinjawadekar, secretary general of All India Senior Citizens'' Confederation, Dhiru Mistry, Prof Suryakant Shah and Dr Harikrishna Joshi.
