RTE application date ends today

Ahmedabad: The deadline to fill application forms for admissions under the Right to Education (RTE) Act in private schools will end on April 17. According to official data, a total of 2,06,482 applications have been submitted so far. Last year, the state received 2,38,942 applications, indicating a comparatively lower response this year so far.The admission process for over 84,000 seats across approximately 9,722 private schools began on April 4. These seats represent 25% of total admissions, as mandated under the RTE Act.
